Fit TipThe figures above are the outside dimensions of the box, not the usable space inside it – the fabric walls and the dividers take up a little room, so plan on slightly less internal space than the outer numbers suggest. Before ordering, measure the shelf or the gap under your bed with a tape measure: width across the front, depth front to back, and height from the shelf to whatever sits above it. Then measure your longest shoe flat on the floor, from the back of the heel to the tip of the toe. Anything over about 30 cm / 11.8 in will sit tight in a single compartment, so pull a divider out and give that pair two slots.

How many pairs of shoes fit in one box?
The box is divided into 12 compartments. Flat shoes, sandals, kids' shoes and most women's styles fit one pair per compartment, so you'll get the full 12 pairs in. Chunky trainers, men's shoes and anything with a thick sole usually need two compartments per pair, which works out at around 6 pairs. Mixed footwear lands somewhere in between.
Can I make the compartments bigger?
Yes. The dividers lift out, so you can merge two or more compartments into one larger space for boots, high-tops or anything that won't sit flat in a single slot.
What is the largest shoe size it will hold?
Up to EU 43, which is roughly a US men's 9.5, a US women's 11 or a UK 9. Larger sizes still fit if you remove a divider and give the pair two compartments.
Do I need to assemble it?
No. Unfold the box and slide the support panel into the base – that's the whole setup. No screws, no tools and no instruction sheet to work through.
Can these boxes be stacked on top of each other?
Yes. The reinforced panels let the boxes hold their shape when stacked. Keep stacks to a sensible height on open shelving, and put the heaviest box at the bottom.
Will it fit on a standard closet shelf?
Most standard wardrobe shelves are around 35–40 cm deep, and this box is 32 cm deep, so it usually fits front to back with room to spare. Height is the thing to check – you need at least 32 cm of clearance above the shelf to slide it in and lift the lid comfortably.
How do I clean it, and can I fold it away when it's empty?
Wipe the shell and the clear window with a damp cloth and let it air dry – don't put it in the washing machine. When you're done with it for the season, take the support panel out and the whole box folds flat for storage.
